If your firm subscribes to our "Spamford" service, all incoming email is scanned for viruses, trojans, worms and Spam.
Each day you might get a report in your email from a character at our firm by the name of Spamford. Spamford sends these reports out to anyone with Spam and holds any suspect messages until you tell him to delete, deliver or whitelist them. If you never respond to this, he automatically deletes after they sit in his backyard for thirty (30) days.
Here's a sample of what these reports would look like.

Spamford learns from what you tell him to do with these reports. For example, if you tell him to deliver a message, he assumes you want to receive things like that when you tell him to deliver that type of message in the future. If the email is a legitimate one (like a mailing list you subscribe to), click "whitelist" next to that message so it doesn't sit in the quarantine the next time another arrives. If it looks like a real email, login to the system and view the message there, without delivering the email first. You can login to this system with the same username (your email address) and password as your email account. If it rejects your password, simply click the "Forgot your password? " link and enter in your email address. Now go to your email account and use the temporary password it has created for you. After logging in, you can change the password to something more suitable to you. To view your entire quarantine inbox or manage your preferences,"Click Here". If it is Spam, click Delete. In the example above, it's all Spam, click the Delete All Messages link. If someone says they sent you an email and you don't see it, it's possible it was classified as Spam. In that event (instead of waiting until 5:30am to have it show up in your daily Spam report), you can login to Spamford at any time to check to see if something you have been waiting for is there or not. We sincerely hope this reduces the "ick" factor when you open your email.
