First, determine what you need to install on your PC. The systems we sinatll have different software deending on what your needs are.
If you use Internet Explorer For casual access, we recommend installing the following controls (this is an ActiveX bundle), though you may simply connect to the system you need access to and it will prompt you for the controls one at a time. If the PC you need to install is used by you regularly, then the bundle is much easier. All you need for this is Internet Explorer. Once you install the ActiveX bundle, simple connect to the system name with Internet Explorer that was povided to you by us. When you first connect (after you login) you will need to "allow" Internet Explorer to run the ActiveX Controls (it remembers after you've allowed the control to run for future needs). It will probably do this for two different controls. http;//systemname.domain.name It will ask for a username and a password. Simply enter the information as provided then click "OK" to login. You should be able (in a few seconds) to view the system remotely. Notice there are some "tables" underneath that will allow you to select the number of camera. Each camera/view is labeled for easy to understand navigation. Similarly "double-clicking" on a frame will enlarge and show just that camera. Also, we strongly suggest you do not leave this up unattended, as it has an impact on the Internet connection provided to it. It's very straightforward, but should you have questions about an installation we've performed, contact us.
If you need to connect to multiple systems at once Similarly, for enhanced views into one or multiple systems, we recommend the LEWatch application. If you need assistance getting this installed and configured, either look over the manual or open a helpdesk incident to get assistance. You do not have to have the ActiveX controls installed to use the LEWatch application, or vice versa. |
